Katrina Kaif has become the new action heroine of Bollywood. After her high adrenaline performance in 'Ek Tha Tiger', she is getting roles which demand lots of action. She will be seen in car chases and fisting down rouges in 'Dhoom3'.

Well the latest news is that she would also be doing a stunt for a paint advertisement. For which, she has been reportedly paid a thumping amount of Rs. 7 crores!

It is a new genre in Indian film industry. Where, we see lot of actress doing action scenes. Something moviegoers had enjoyed in Hollywood movies. Linda Hamilton, as Sarah Connor, had performed action scenes to the hilt in 'Terminator 2'. Similarly Angelina Jolie, Demi Moore in 'Wanted' and 'GI Jane' had performed with so much passion that it left the audience spell bound. Not only these, there's an entire plethora of Hollywood actress who has been involved in action movies.

B-town seems to have taken a cue from that.  Though, the actress is still required to look hot in the movies. Their image of damsel in distress is surely undergoing some makeover. Priyanka Chopra began that, when she acted as the bodyguard of Abhishek Bachchan in 'Drona'. Later on she enthralled us with her role in 'Don' and 'Don2'.  Kareena has joined them with her stunts in 'Agent Vinod'. Sameera Reddy performed some awesome bike stunts in 'Tezz', recently. Also we hear of Kangana Ranaut playing the role of a mutant in 'Krrish3'. Not only has she lost weight but also has learned taekwondo, judo and karate for the role.

Katrina is said to be very hard working. Her co-actor Shahrukh in untitled Yash Chopra film is impressed by her work ethic. He said, ""Katrina puts in a lot of effort to make her character look and sound believable." Her personal trainer Yasmin Karachiwala, has co-ordinated a new training plan for her. He said, "Kat needs to get flexible and lean, so when she returns from London, we will change her workout routine. She needs to do lots of pilates to open up her muscles and increase flexibility, apart from a combination of functional training and TRX to develop core strength. She doesn't need to look thin, but lean.
