The cops showed up at Saif Ali Khan's door at 1.15 am, after a complaint of loud music was received from one of the residents of Bandra.
An eyewitness outside Saif's house at Satguru Sharan said, "A group of policemen arrived at the building, went up to the actor's penthouse and asked them to stop the music. There was no music for some time, but after a few minutes, they started playing songs loudly.''
Saif and Kareena Kapoor played guessing games with the media all of Sunday (October 14), as to where their pre-wedding dinner party was to be. There was traffic jam outside Fortune Heights where Saif and Kareena currently live, but the actual function was at their new residence, just a few blocks down the road. Spotting a generator outside their new building, mediapersons then rushed towards that venue.
The commotion continued as crowds milled around the entire lane between the two buildings, waiting to catch a glimpse of the stars. Around 9.45 pm, Soha Ali Khan arrived with Kunal Khemu and were soon followed by Kareena's close friends and Saif's other family members. Neetu Singh, Reema and her son Armaan Jain, Tusshar Kapoor, a heavily pregnant Amrita Arora Ladak and Malaika Arora Khan sans Arbaaz were also spotted. 
The crowds hoped to catch a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor but he didn't turn up, at least, in the initial phase. And though rumours, saying Amrita Singh was expected, made the rounds, we didn't spot her.
