Vidya Gets Sari Endorsement Deal for a Whooping 5 Crore

The dusky south Indian beauty has another feather in her cap. The actress will soon be seen in an advertisement campaign for a sari brand. The famous Chennai based sari house has decided to make her the brand ambassador as she is well known for her affinity towards sari. The actress does look stunning in the ethnic Indian attire as well. The actress is roped in for the advertisement blitz for a whooping payment deal of rupees five crore.

Swati Iyer from Bling! Entertainment Solutions quoted aptly that "Vidya today represents the quintessential Indian woman. She not only dazzles in saris but is also astoundingly self-assured to follow a path charted out only by her at a time when everyone is sporting similar looks. She stands out far apart from the crowd. She brought saris 'back'."She further added, "Hence it is no surprise that we got her to be the face of the biggest sari brand in the country. Vidya is also seen mostly draped in saris in her films. Her recent movies 'Ishqiya', 'Paa' and 'The Dirty Picture' are the evidences in the direction. However, she was seen in different get-up in the movies 'Kahaani' and 'No One Killed Jessica'. She mostly flaunted western outfits in these two flicks. Any award function will have Vidya posing in a stunning sari. Her dressing style is almost similar and gorgeous like the legendary Bollywood actress Rekha. She does carry the outfit in style!

Atul Kasbekar is a famous photographer and owner of Bling Entertainment. He is palpably excited about working with Vidya and states "Internally, we have positioned her as India's Meryl Streep.
